Over the weekend a DP friend pulled me onto a small commercial spot to work as a grip. I've done one similar gig before - working as a grip to a gaffer/two grip lighting team on a sizzle/pilot shoot.
I learned a lot and defiantly got more efficient in breaking down and setting up c-stands over the course of the weekend, haha. The lighting was low key but worked out well and images looked great. We were filming scenes throughout two office spaces, using mostly natural lighting supplemented with: one kino bank with two quasar lights, one 575 HMI light, one astra LED panel, and one other 1x1.
I love learning camera/lighting department but, fingers crossed a producing gig comes along :)
