LivePD is doing well. People are watching, tweeting, and talking. We've hit #1 on cable several times now and it's great to be along for the ride (literally).
Midland was the third city I've worked in since the show premiered back in October 2016. Every city is different - demographics, crime rates, types of crimes, criminals, officers, etc. In Midland I rode with the county sheriff's department as opposed to city police. I even got to do a ride with the sheriff! We also worked with members of the lone star fugitive task force, which was something different for me. Midland was a lot of fun and I wish I'd gotten to spend more time up there exploring the city and the area surrounding it.
I spent about two weeks in Midland - the first weekend I went to check out the Carlsbad Caverns in New Mexico. (Awesome!) The second weekend I went to Marfa, TX to check out art instillations - unfortunately lots of things were closed but I snapped lots of great photos around the city.
Here's a photo from my first live night out in Midland, TX. Investigators ended up making one arrest on a domestic violence charge.
I'm always looking for new experiences so I'm looking forward to seeing what city is next...
